With December graduation just around the corner many students are asking themselves where they should begin looking for a job.
Maria McCarthy, director of Career Services at BUSPH, will address that question and more on November 18 at the workshop "How to Conduct a Successful Job Search."
The seminar will focus on:
- Organizing and execute a successful job search in public health
- Locating sources for informational interviewing
- Making the most of networks
- Identifying the best resources available on and off-campus
"How to Conduct a Successful Job Search" meets the new professional development learning experiences requirement for students first enrolled at BUSPH in fall 2009 or later. It is the third installment of the Practice Office’s “How To” series workshop. If you are interested in learning more about the “How To” series, download the 2009-2010 Professional Development Workshop Series listing (PDF).
