Please come join Rotaract to raise money for One Home Many Hopes (OHMH)! This event will be held on October 29th at 8:00PM in the downstairs lounge of Lir Irish Pub and Restaurant (903 BOYLSTON STREET, BOSTON, MA 02116).               

$5 at the door.

OHMH is a loving home for orphaned and abandoned girls in Mtwapa, Kenya. Known in Kenya as “Mudzini Kwetu,” OHMH finds, rescues, houses, loves and educates former street children and equips them to be the future agents of change in their community. But Mudzini Kwetu’is severely over-capacity. All 32 girls and 3 ‘house mothers’ live in our one 4-bedroom house.

So, One Home Many Hopes has launched “Breaking Ground” – a month-long, global fundraising effort from Oct 19, 2009 – Nov 20th in cities and towns around the world. In each city, individuals and small crews of volunteers will be hosting events and launching their own fundraising drives to bring in $70,000 (GBP 50,000) to build this family its first real home.
