Conducting a Basic Housing Inspection
This module is a basic introduction to housing code inspections in Massachusetts that identifies the key elements of a complaint-based investigation and inspection. Additional training opportunities are available from MDPH Community Sanitation Program and the Local Public Health Institute of MA. The Minimum Standards of Fitness for Human Habitation (105 CMR 410.000) should always be reviewed prior to an inspection. In order to print you must enable printing of background images through Internet Explorer. Click Tools - Internet Options Advanced - Scroll down and you will see a checkbox for Print background colors and images, make sure that box is checked.
