The mission of the New England Alliance for Public Health Workforce Development (Alliance) is to promote and deliver collaborative education and training programs among academic, local, state, and regional public health agencies to strengthen the competence and capacity of the current and future public health workforce.
The Alliance is structured to serve as the HRSA-funded public health training center (PHTC) for all of New England. Boston University School of Public Health is the lead agency and administrative home for all Alliance activities. Each University Academic Partner is charged with training public health professionals and leading collaborative projects that span the following geographic or programmatic areas:
