Biography

Dr. Brogly's research addresses the reproductive health and perinatal outcomes of marginalized populations including substance users, HIV infected women and children, and young minority women.  She is the Principal Investigator of several foundation and BUMC funded studies.  Dr. Brogly is currently collaborating with clinical providers of BMC’s Project RESPECT clinic to study the effect of prenatal exposure to opioid agonist therapies on neonatal abstinence syndrome (NAS), and with the Department of Pediatrics to study sleep disruptions and NAS pathophysiology.  Prior to joining BUSPH Dr. Brogly held an appointment from 2002-2009 in the Center for Biostatistics in AIDS Research at Harvard University.
