The coursework available at
BUSPH, coupled with the breadth and flexibility of the
concentration, allows domestic and foreign students
to craft a program well suited to their own professional
needs.
Core Requirements
All International Health concentrators
may fulfill the MPH core requirements as follows:
Behavioral Sciences may be met by taking either
SB721
Social and Behavioral Sciences for Public Health or
IH720
Social and Behavioral Sciences and International Public Health.
Health Services may be met by taking
- HS 702 Introduction to Health
Services or
- IH 704 Comparative Health Services: Organization,
Delivery, and Financing; and
- only if a non-U.S. citizen or permanent
resident,
the Summer Certificate
Program.
International Health concentrators must also complete the MPH
core requirements.
Note: All international,
nonresident students (students who have neither U.S.
citizenship nor resident alien immigration status) are
exempted from the health law MPH core requirement.
To fulfill concentration requirements, students must select
