The Pike Conference: March 30, 2007
THE NUREMBURG DOCTORS' TRIAL: 60 YEARS LATER
The conference will examine the impact of the Nuremberg Code on international and U.S. law regarding human experimentation and the role of physicians in euthanasia of people with disabilities.

We will also consider the role of military physicians in the "global war on terror," especially in prison settings. Dr. Edmund Pellegrino, current chairman of the President's Council on Bioethics and expert on medical ethics and history of medicine, will deliver the keynote address, "On Human Dignity."
