Boston University celebrates the 50th anniversary of Health Law at Boston University with a series of programs highlighting critical issues in human rights and health law, featuring distinguished experts in the field, including Boston University alumni and visiting scholars, and health law faculty in the schools of Law, Public Health, and Medicine.

Health Law at Boston University began in 1958 with the Law-Medicine Institute (later the Center for Law and Health Sciences) at the School of Law. Center faculty created the first Health Law Department (now the Department of Health Law, Bioethics & Human Rights) at the School of Public Health in 1978.

All programs are free and open to the public.
