Applying to graduate school and earning your degree in the field of public health is an amazing accomplishment. Boston University School of Public Health is here to support you during this process. When selecting an institution to help further your career aspirations it is paramount to consider the impact the program will have on your ability to make professional connections, to be a part of a learning environment that is on the cutting edge of your discipline, and to apply what you have learned in the classroom to practical field based experiences that you will have as a student and then later on as a public health professional.
It is also important to consider, "How am I going to pay for all of this?"
BU School of Public Health is proud to offer several internal and external opportunities for students to fund their graduate students.

Merit Based Scholarships
The School of Public Health offers merit scholarships based on the strength of a candidate's application portfolio. Financial need is not a factor. As there is no separate application process for scholarship consideration, all (both domestic and international) admitted students are automatically considered for scholarship aid.
Need Based Scholarships
The BU Medical Campus Office of Student Financial Services (OSFS) administers all need-based financial award packages, including all federal loans. The OSFS also manages particular need based award opportunities for BUSPH students, federal work-study awards, and can provide assistance to students seeking private student loans to help pay for education costs.
