The Admissions Team is ready to assist you as you begin the admission process to BUSPH. We are one of 41 accredited school of public health in the country, and also one of 31 schools participating in SOPHAS. This service allows you to apply to multiple CEPH accredited schools of public health with one application. BUSPH does not require a supplemental application.

Your application to BUSPH will go through three distinct phases. The table below summarizes what you need to do during these phases, who will handle your application during each phase, and who to contact for issues regarding your application.
*Please note that Boston University admits for both Spring and Fall for MPH applicants. Applicants for the Spring 2010 semester are given priority consideration for review of their application and applications for Fall 2010 will be reviewed once we have reviewed our Spring 2010 applications. Timeline: 2-4 weeks
The following application materials must be submitted directly to SOPHAS:
- Completed SOPHAS application
- All official transcripts signed in sealed envelopes
- Standardized test scores using the appropriate reporting code
- Three letters of recommendation
- Personal statement
- CV or resume

Timeline: 1-3 weeks
Upon recepit of your application from SOPHAS, you will receive an email confirming the receipt of your application by BUSPH.
We then ensure that your application has all of the necessary documents. If your file is incomplete, it will be held until we receive the necessary documents.
Once the application is complete, it is forwarded to the department for review and recommendation.

Monitor your email for all communications.
Once a final decision has been reached, you will be officially notified via postal mail.
