Accepted Students' Day on Campus
To those who have been accepted to Boston University School of Public Health, congratulations! We have designed a day so that you might make the most informed decision possible. This event is geared towards applicants who have been accepted into our Master of Public Health or our dual degree programs.
Events include:
- Introductions from our Associate Deans of Education, Research, and Practice will provide insight on what you'll learn at BUSPH and how you can apply your education to the field of public health.
- Lunch will be provided for an informal opportunity to meet and have your questions answered by students, alumni, faculty, and staff.
- A panel of current students who will discuss their reasons for entering the field of public health, why they chose Boston University School of Public Health, their choice of a concentration, program of study, and their experience to date at the School as students.
Idealist Graduate School Fairs
Idealist.org sponsors a series of Graduate Degree Fairs for the Public Good where potential applicants can meet with representatives from many graduate programs. Each event also offeres a set of workshops that will describe various degrees, illuminate the application and financial aid process, and guide attendees in how to transition into graduate school.
Boston University School of Public Health is proud to join Idealist on the road each fall to speak with prospective applicants interested in earning degrees in public health. APHA Annual Meeting and Exposition
Each year Boston University School of Public Health attends the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and Exposition . On the last day of the meeting, the exhibit hall allows prospective applicants and opportunity to speak with admissions representatives from each of the 41 CEPH accredited schools of public health. Admission is free for those who register. Please register prior to Friday, October 30, 2009. This year's event will be held in Philadelphia, PA. Visit Day will be on Wednesday, November 11, 2009 from 8:30am - 12:30pm.
