The School's seven academic departments provide educational and research programs in the specialized areas that are essential to the field of public health. BUSPH's collaborative atmosphere encourages interdepartmental cooperation among faculty and students. While students choose a concentration in one department, they can choose to take courses offered by any department. Faculty who initiate research in one particular field also work regularly with colleagues in other departments.
