Tuition and Fees for 2012/2013* Investing in a graduate degree is both a personal and financial commitment, and the admissions staff at BUSPH is here to help you find ways to make your education affordable. In 2010-2011, BUSPH awarded over $4 million in scholarships. Overall, 93% of BUSPH students receive funding in the forms of need-based aid, fellowships, scholarships, loans, or tuition remission. MASTERS IN PUBLIC HEALTH (MPH)
Full-time students may enroll in 12-18 credits per semester for $21,200 per semester. Part-time students may enroll in 11 credits of fewer for $1,325 per credit. Please note that students have the flexibility to switch between part- and full-time status on a semester basis; many students do so in order to balance their academic and professional calendars, as well as accommodate research and practice opportunities that may arise. OTHER DEGREES
These figures are for 2012/2013 only and may not apply for subsequent years. These tuition rates and fees are effective as of September 2012. There is no registration fee for full-time students. The registration fee for part-time students is $40 per semester. There is a $50 program fee for all students, both fall and spring semesters. For thesis and dissertation students, there is a Continuing Study fee of $2,552 per semester. All fees are nonrefundable. The student is assessed at actual cost for any breakage or damage to University property. Library fines are assessed by the librarian. Medical Insurance Massachusetts law requires all students who are enrolled in at least 75 percent of the full-time curriculum (9 credits) to demonstrate coverage under a qualifying medical insurance plan. Part-time students who enroll for fewer than 9 credits are also eligible to purchase medical insurance. Students who cannot demonstrate coverage under a qualifying medical insurance plan are required to purchase the University's student health insurance plan. |
