Registrar's Office
The Office of the Registrar at BUSPH provides efficient, personal service to students seeking to manage the logistics of their education. 

Current News: 
  • Would you like to add a course in the second half of the spring semester? These 2-credit courses have room: IH737, IH752, and MC845.  The latter two have pre-requisites.  IH737 is open to all students.  Check the schedule for meeting dates and times, and e-mail the SPH Registrar's Office if you would like to add one of the classes. One or two-credit directed studies with a full-time faculty member are also an option.
  • The Summer schedule and registration packet is here and also viewable on the Student Link.  Please use your planner function to plan classes.  Registration starts on Thursday, March 1 at 7:00 AM.  Please note this change for the meeting days and times for SPH PM835, Lean Management. PM835 will meet M-F 5/21-5/25 from 11:30 a.m. -5:30 p.m. and also on alternate Wednesdays from 6 p.m. —7:40 p.m. on W 6/6, 6/20, and 7/18. Final presentations for the class are on Monday, 7/30 and Wednesday, August 1 from 6:00 PM-8:30 PM.
  • Last call for May 2012 graduation applications! Applications are available in paper form outside the SPH Registrar's Office on Talbot 2. If you are not in Boston, e-mail us for an electronic copy of the graduation application.  Please note - do not make a special trip to hand in the application.  You may scan and e-mail it or fax it to 617-638-5060.  Please do not fax or e-mail the completed survey; drop it off sometime this spring.
  • Planning on graduating in September 2012? You are invited to "walk" in the May ceremony.  Please complete a Walking Form and submit it to the SPH Registrar's Office by March 9.

Course Offerings:

To the find the most up-to-date information about what courses are being offered at BUSPH, visit the Student Link. Choose the semester of interest and "SPH" for college to see meeting dates and times, course descriptions, enrollment and professors for all courses being offered. The Course Rotation Guide lists the expected semester a course will be offered for all courses.

For a list of courses at other BU graduate schools that are pre-approved for transfer credit to the MPH degree, please click here .  Students must document their intention to take the class for MPH degree credit by completing a transfer credit request form and submitting the form prior to the start of the class.  No additional documents are needed.  Students must earn a B or better for the class to transfer.
