The Required Practicum
What is the Practicum

The BUSPH practicum is a required course that enables students to gain professional public health work experience outside of the classroom. As in all accredited graduate schools of public health, MPH students at BUSPH are required to complete an approved, planned, and supervised practicum.

Where Do BUSPH Students Conduct Their Practicums?

What about Internships?

Internships can meet the practicum requirement provided all course assignments are completed. Internships are typically formal, structured field expreiences within companies or organizations. Click here for available internship opportunities.
