Department of Health Policy & Management
The Department of Health Policy and Management is a national leader in health services research and education, providing competency-based educational programs to prepare health service practitioners, and developing research methods to assess health care quality, outcomes and value. More than 30 full time faculty members, many connected with three department-affiliated health services and disabilities research centers, teach and mentor students utilizing methods designed to engage students in active learning. The student body is composed of a diverse mix of recent college graduates and early to mid-career health professionals, joining us from the US and throughout the world.

The Department offers a MPH in Health Policy and Management with an opportunity for specialization in policy, management, or finance. The Department also offers a Masters in Science in Health Services Research and a PhD in Health Services Research with a special focus on health economics or health quality.
