Information Sessions The Office of Admissions at Boston University School of Public Health invites you to attend one of our information sessions located on the Boston University Medical Campus. Visitors will learn more about public health, the careers it offers, and the admission process at schools of public health. These events are generally held throughout the fall and early winter. Topics include:
Accepted Students' Day on Campus To those who have been accepted to Boston University School of Public Health, congratulations! We have designed a day so that you might make the most informed decision possible. This event is geared towards applicants who have been accepted into our Master of Public Health or our dual degree programs. These events are generally held throughout the spring semester. Remember, if you cannot attend one of our events, we are always happy to have you on campus to learn more about our program and help guide your final decision for graduate study. Idealist.org sponsors a series of Graduate Degree Fairs for the Public Good where potential applicants can meet with representatives from many graduate programs.Each event also offeres a set of workshops that will describe various degrees, illuminate the application and financial aid process, and guide attendees in how to transition into graduate school. Boston University School of Public Health is proud to join Idealist on the road each fall to speak with prospective applicants interested in earning degrees in public health.Please visit BU's profile on Idealist.org to see which Idealist Fairs we will be attending.You can also view our On the Road or Local Events. APHA Annual Meeting and Exposition Each year Boston University School of Public Health attends the American Public Health Association (APHA) Annual Meeting and Exposition. On the last day of the meeting, the exhibit hall allows prospective applicants and opportunity to speak with admissions representatives from each of the 44 CEPH accredited schools of public health. Admission is generally free for those who register. The 2010 conference will be held in Denver, CO. To register for the Visit Day, please go to the ASPH website. |
